Grooming Appointments
Grooming
is by appointment only. Our phone number is 01382 552758. Please
note that due to our workload we may not be able to answer the phone, in
this case please leave a message on our answer machine & we shall
call you back.
We
ask that dog owners should please ensure that they drop off and collect
their dogs at the specified time. If you come back early & the
grooming is not finished the dog may become excited or upset, which
makes our job even more difficult. If you bring your dog in too early
this may upset the other dogs which we may be in the process of
grooming.
Please phone as soon as possible if you have to cancel your appointment.
Prices
quoted include strip or clip, trim, bath, routine ear & nail
care. Anal Glands will be expressed if required. Shampoo &
conditioner are included in the price of a normal grooming session.
If
you have made an appointment & think your dog is ill or has an
infectious disease please ring to ask us for advice. especially if
your dog has an unexplained cough, sickness or diarrhoea.
Dogs found to have parasites will be bathed using an insecticidal shampoo.
Dogs found to have skin problems will be bathed with an appropriate skin & coat shampoo.
Nervous,
aggressive, senior dogs or puppies are all welcome. We never sedate
dogs. With an agressive dog we may have to muzzle it, although in most
cases this is unecessary as I have a special affinity with even the
most aggressive of dogs. If we do use a muzzle we will tell the
owner.
As
professional dog groomers we aim to produce work of the highest
standard. If we are presented with an over-grown, badly knotted or
matted coat we can only work with the canvas we have. In these
circumstances it may be the best thing for the dog is to clip the coat
off completely. Matted coats will be disscussed with the owner when
dogs are brought in for their appointments. We offer FREE advice on
